Free open track day at the Red Ring circuit outside Krasnoyarsk, run for drift, time attack, motorcycles and 402 m drag racing. Red Ring is the only circuit in Russia where you can drive for nothing: the programme is funded with the regional police directorate and the youth-policy agency to move street driving onto a closed course. Bring a roadworthy car on non-studded tyres and a motorsport helmet; drivers must be 18-35, hold a valid licence and live in Krasnoyarsk city or Krasnoyarsk Krai. Register in advance on the venue site.
